Was thinking of visiting Bahia Ascuncion

On my visit south. But from some of the posts am wondering if the peopleare friendly? Seems like from some of the posts that there is some bickering in the community.

If you're just visiting I don't see how you could get caught up in any bickering. IF you happened on it, as a visitor, I doubt you'd be asked or be expected to get involved. If that happened then you're with the wrong folks. I've found BA a place where folks will go out of their way for visitors. You'll have fun there!

Heh this whole forum is just bickering!! It usually starts off good, then as the night progresses and the consumption of ice cold coronas and tequila flowing it goes all down hill! ;)

The people in town are for the most part extremely friendly. Take the time to talk with the all the locals and they will help you with anything and you are very apt to be invited to all sorts of functions----

Doesn't take long to walk from one end of town to the other and meet lots and lots of great people.

If you have any specific questions about BA, please feel free to U2U

Thats like saying "Im not gonna go visit San Fransisco, because while I was reading on a website/message board, there was some bickering going on". Come on!! How many people live in Asuncion? Only a few are on this board. Go to any message board and try to find one with no bickering.
Seems to me YOUR question is a little rude. If you would have just asked about Asuncion without the comment about bickering you would have gotten a much better responce.

norte,

Give them all my regards. You will not find a friendlier, more friendly, helpful place than Asuncion. Did I mention fishing, fresh handmade tortillas, pasole, bbq, fresh yellowtail sashimi, warm sand beaches..... great accomodations with Juan and Shari. Fishing with Juan and his partner is not to be missed. I could go on. They like Tecate there, good way to make amends. Just sayin. Don't forget a helmet or two for the bike team, they are always grateful for some help with that.
