Thanks davidK, Udo and Bajamedic!
Norte, I've come to accept scrutiny and it does not bother me because even if it's not pleasant, it makes me a stronger person day by day. Thank you
for your good wishes!!
I enjoy sharing our lives with many people from this forum and I know very well that there are a few "trolls" that will always have something
unpleasant to say, but the good outweighs the bad in many many ways...I'm glad to say that putting up with a few snide remarks here and there is a
small price to pay!
Mulegemichael...all I can say is I'd say you are TOO right but I was taught
that if I have nothing nice to say not to say it at all...
Live life as well as you can,
don\'t regret the things that once made you smile,
learn from your mistakes,
and thank God for every second he gives you upon this earth.

Very well said!
There are many ways to live life and the secret to doing it well is to do each day well.
You live in a place that most of us have to travel a very long way to get to. You live in a vacation spot in a village of wonderful people who know
and love you. You are generative, creative and clearly you and Adrian know how to cook. You will do well.
On my first trips to Baja the very best meals I had were in plywood "restaurants" and in people's homes. These are some of the very best meals I have
had in my life. You can tell when a chef loves their food and you can see that love in Adrian's dishes. Mexico is world famous for it's quisine.
Have you ever seen Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations? He is a world famous chef who travels the world eating at places just like your bistro. He
eschews the fancy restaurants to eat what the locals eat. Local restaurants have to produce quality food or their competition will eat their lunch. I
have had better food at your mother's than I have eaten at some 5 star restaurants I have eaten at. Do what you do with love and care and you will
succeed beyond your dreams.
Serving others is one of life's great pleasures and having a restaurant is one of those ways of serving others. It is a great pleasure to serve fine
food and see the faces of guests enjoying themselves. This is one of the reasons that we host dinners and social gatherings. It is a pleasure to give
pleasure.
By the way, some of the plywood restaurants I first ate at in Baja are now major restaurants. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a step the old
Chines proverb goes.
Abalone burger!!! Home made Pizza! Fresh Sushi!! I recall the sushi you and your mother made from the yellowtail I caught and we ate it in our motor
home, cause I was so sick! Next time I will have the pleasure of eating it at your bistro! Live is good and it gets better!

Best of luck to you both, we are looking forward to eating at the Tide Pool and we will be bringing all of our Asuncion visitors over for a try also.
The place looks great and food looks wonderful. Job well done!!!!!
What we see depends mainly on what we look for.

The path each of us is on right now is exactly the right path for right now. Paths flow and curve, fork and change. If each of us consciously
follows our own paths, we will likely have adventurous learning experience.
My congratulations and best wishes to you, Sirena and Adrian, on your new bistro business endeavor. Food cooked with talent, love and good cheer,
eaten by the ocean with cerveza of my choice.... sounds like an excellent day to me.

Positive Vibrations! When people broke thru in the Sixties everyone was
criticized but look at the Movement now. New thots and Frank Zappa. In the long run a Restaurant may not be... but for the moment, let's go for
it!! It's great Baja still has remote areas where fish tacos, Peace and Love still command attention!! I'm happy to think that Serenita and her Ol
Man have larger visions---Environmental, maybe!! Peace Tio

Don't we plan most of daily actions around food, we plan trips to restaurants, we plan to visit someplace especially for the food. Sometimes we go to
special places for the food and hospitality because we'll see other like minded people too, until one day the place is so packed you'll wait in lines
down the street for their food and plan your yearly job/vacations around them just to stop in! Ahhh, does Adrian have a wine list?

The wine list is in the developing stages. Chris the plant guy has initiated Wine-O-Wednesdays so we can decide what we like with Tide Pool pizza and
sushi, not to mention the fun of getting together around a few good bottles with friends. Suggestions?

Could this be better, patrons are invited to tour the Californias stopping at restaurants such as French Laundry in Mill Valley, L'Auberge Carmel and
over a thousand miles of wine tours of gastronomical exploration, culminating in a grand wine exchange and fine wine tasting, sensory adventure and
fun en el Bistro Asuncion accompanied by Hors d'śuvres de la casa con sabor cinco estrella.

Serenita & Adrian,
Life's road can be full of many lumps, bumps and curves that many of us have had to endure. I for one know this first hand as well and can tell you
with your loving family and friends you will prevail and come through this winding road just fine. There will be good times, difficult times, fun
times and times of struggle but with your positive look on life you will make it as many of us have.
Don't let the nay sayers bring your journey down, you will make it and wish you two the best that life can bring to you. Just play the hand that has
been dealt and make the best of it, time goes by so quickly and before too long you will be looking back to this very special time and sharing it with
others. Good luck to you and Adrian and soon to arrive...........

I'm looking forward to pulling up a chair and enjoying The Tide Pool's fare. Sometime this fall...
Congratulations, Sirena, to you and Adrian, and best wishes on your future plans.
and, Sirena, I am impressed by the way you handled Kat's post. Your patience, thoughtfulness and kindness will take you far.

Can't wait to get there! Auntie Shelley says she wants to help and will share some of her culinary expertise with you and Adrian, although from what
I've heard so far you most likely won't need it!!!
