I think it has to do with cut tomatoes that sit around - 2x in 2 years and both times tomatoes were involved.

Got Sick in San Diego Last November

When I visited a friend in the hospital.

I had never had the flu before. I had a nasty cough for six months.

Ten years in Rosarito, Baja, no Montezuma's revenge.

I drink tap water at home and "agua natural" at restaurants (I do not like being pressed to buy bottled water).

Nutmeg:

Nutmeg contains myristicin and elemicin which were both considered psychoactive chemicals. In 2009, elemicin was found not to be psychoactive. Myristicin, along with being psychoactive, is also a weak Monoamine oxidase inhibitor.[1]

By the afternoon of the clinic visit, I was feeling better. Was well in time for a Mexican Wedding we had been invited to & had a great time. My emergency visit to the clinic, one of our local friends got me in the back door before ithe clinic opened, cost 190 pesos which included 2 IVs, 6 meds & 2 shots. My better 3/4s was starting to feel poorly and ask if she could get it from taking care of me. The Doc said yes and gave her a shot & half of the meds. We Donated an additional 110 pesos to the clinic for supplies as the clinic is not allow to charge extra because you are not a local. Several other people came in with the same problem while I was receiving the IVs but were not in as bad shape, they were younger. The Revenge can be sirius for the more mature individual.

I always have Cipro in my kit. At the first signs of trouble take it twice a day for 3 days. At the first pill the buggies go away. Simi sells it to you if you go and talk to the "on call" doctor who charges 35 pesos. I never go anywhere without it. Works well on bladder infections too.

I carry antibiotics as well - Bactrium. Last summer I came down with something and Treda just wasn't strong enough. The doc at GN prescribed Bactrium and in 2 days life started to feel good again. Lost a fair amount of weight though.
