Any Los Lobos or Robert Plant fans out there?
On Robert Plant's new album he covers a Los Lobos song "Angel Dance". Nice video of the same song.
By the way, the video what shot in Illinois.
(thought it was east LA)

Thanks for tip...will definitely check it out. If Los Lobos fan you might already be familiar with their Los Super Seven project a few yrs ago. If
not, it's a MUST...fantastic super-group of latin stars. The NO BORDERS dvd of their live performance is awesome.
(And yes, music lover here...drummer/percussionist most of my life.)

Los Super Seven is playing Belly Up in a few weeks, would go but I will be out of town.
I have all their albums.
I agree with your take on the DVD!
Los Lobos's Tin Can Trust, their new album, is excellent!

OK tripledigitken, now that I viewed Angel Dance clip I'm sure not to get any work done today....I've already watched it three times!!!!!!! Plant
lowriding with Lobos! Love it!
And bravo to him for pulling this off so masterfully. Nothing more exhilarating than an artist w/o boundaries.

I couldn't agree more. Robert Plant has aged well. His project with Alison Krauss a few years ago was extradordinary. She has an angel's voice, and
paired with Plant what a treat.
Plant's addition of a mandolin for "Angel Dance" was masterful.

I have some friends that actually had Los Lobos play at their wedding in El Monte back in the day. I'm talking 'bout over thirty years ago. I think
they represent the absolute best in the musical melting pot. The wolf keeps surviving!
