If it is wider than a normal king, then it is a Eastern King. Eastern Kings are also a bit shorter than California Kings.

If it is wider than a normal king, then it is a Eastern King. Eastern Kings are also a bit shorter than California Kings. |
That's because it's a proven fact all Californians are tall and thin, and folks from everywhere else are shorter and fat. Other than that it just
screws up everyone trying to buy the right sized sheets.
