anybody visiting Astro Baja soon??
my paisanos Astrobaja have generously offered to share some of their apple crop with us...they know how much we miss good apples!
so we are wondering if anyone might be visiting them who will be heading south who would bring down a bag of apples...they could be dropped off in
Vizcaino or even in Mulege where other nomads could bring them over to us...thanks amigos.

we have a plan that will "get around" that issue so anyone who may possibly be coming from astrobaja's to central baja please U2U me...
If I lived my life by not doing the things people told me couldnt be done...well...I wouldnt be where i am today and would not have experienced most
of the amazing things I have done over the years
...I cant tell you how many times I have heard that "you cant do that...or...cant be done" and with some creative thinking & planning, courage and
just plain positive action...one can do just about anything.
here in mexico Si se puede" or yes you can....is a favorite saying.

The purpose of a restriction is to either prevent the introduction of a pest or to protect a region's financial resources.
Since AstroBaja would not give infested fruit to anyone he likes, the apples probably are clean and edible.
I do not think Baja Sur has a apple growing industry that will be threatened by Shari not buying local apples.
With a clear conscious, you could just use one of the many other roads that cross the state border...
(one of the routes, I mentioned here has been edited out by request)

Yeah apples are not exactly a BCS crop :> Nope none of our apples have worms,
they only do so well here because there are enough cold days for apples to thrive. I think its safe to say our apples are probably the best in all of
Baja! So if anybodys going to the SPM park in the next couple weeks stop by and we'll give you a big bagfull! (except for MrBill he gets a lump of
coal)

WOW
that is an apple pie waiting to happen.
If astrobaja drops them off with me someone can stop by and pick them up here. I am sure they all will be there for Shari. YUP I am sure they will.
I have had apples from San Telmo and hey they are really good stuff.
