Fleet Week 2010

Last week was Fleet Week in San Francisco Bay. Went out and anchored in Aquatic Park overnight and watched the Blue Angels along with the Patriots Jet Team and others perform over the Bay. The weather was great and the shows were fantastic. Here are some photos shot over the 3 days we were out.

Awesome pics, BMG. I've always loved seeing the Blue Angels down here at Miramar. Thanks for posting.

Nice. We enjoyed the show from the Marina Green on Saturday. Good times.

Thanks for the kind comments. I bought a 'new to me' Nikon D40X last year and have been trying to learn how to use it properly in order to compete with Diana, Ken, Russ, Pompano and others. The settings when I took that photo were: ISO-100, exposure 1/400 sec, focal length 55mm, f-stop f/10. I took so many photos (2000+) that weekend that I had the camera set on auto for about 3/4 of them and on continuous shooting mode. Turns out the camera is smarter than me most of the time.
