Wind warning to Sea of Cortez travelers...


I arrived at Bahia Cristina last Sunday, decided to stay there till the winds die off. This is Tuesday...and the winds are blasting! Really blasting. If you are planning to come down here....get a current weather report! Boating is OUT. Shore fishing is OUT. Camping is chasing your stuff! Not fun here folks.

The BajaNomads from Grass Valley.....hope u r okay in Punta Final.....we could see the major clouds over there :-(

Oh....did I say it rained in San Felipe too? !

Sorry...cant update here for a week...going off the grid again.




Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

I second that! The desert over here to blooming green big time. More rain is expected here in SF tonight.

NEWS FLASH....it even rained here in Asuncion at dark thirty this morning and a bit around noon...it RARELY rains here...nice to smell wet sand! but our spearfishers cancelled...drat.

cant see the lomas de tj from the back yard now as it is rainy/foggy.

last night the sunset was EPIC!!! the coronado's were beautiful!!!

no wind here
we did have breezes for 3 days
spotty clouds today
but plenty of sun for the batteries

lots of boats went out this morning

pretty nice 80 degree weather

hang in there mcfez!!! as gene and neil say in the baja catch, the only thing for sure about those types of winds is that they WILL die down and the Cortez will be a lake once again!
