Fishing Laguna San Ignacio

I have heard that one cannot fish in the Laguna during whale season. Is that only from pangas? Is shore fishing allowed?

I would love to spend the week watching whales, but some of the Baja Boys need to fish.

Thanks in advance.

best of both worlds

I do not think you can fish in LSI or other whale grounds while they are there...what I would do is go fishing at Loreto and whale watch at Puerto San Carlos at Mag Bay...BTW it seemed there were more friendly whales at Mag Bay this last year than at LSI...good luck

I hear the whales song
