Waeco Adler Barbour Coolmatic 40 quart compressor/cooler
It's the size of a 50 quart cooler and makes about as much noise but it will freeze water. Runs on 12 volts and uses surprisingly few amps. You can
set the desired temp with the digital controls.

Ice Makers
I have heard of one that is diesel and you put 10 gallons of water in it and in 12 hours you will have had 12 volts, 120 volt s and 80 LBS of ice,on a
tank of fuel. I think they were for sail boats.
Anybody know? Jack S.??

Grouper, I figure at $2 a bag for ice and averaging purcasing one bag a day I need to spend 350 days in Baja California to make the cooler pay for
itself. Wonder if that will fly with the boss? Boss, I need 350 days off...

watch those amps
I have a very high end refer/freezer made in italy and it uses an extremely efficient german made compressor. The same one the $1500.00 fridge freeze
people use. Even so it uses 30 amps in a 24 hour period on high. Those cheaper models I would not believe there power consumption ratings. The
hotter it is the more times the compressor and cooling fans have to turn on and that is where the power is consumed. So down in baja that would be
often. chillin out with a cold pacifico----fishin rich
