Camino Real Tijuana
I just booked a room at the Camino Real Tijuana for the Saturday night before the Aug. 22 Palmazul get-together. Anyone have any experience with this
hotel or know is it close to Palmazul? It was kind of a spur of the moment thing when I found a cheap rate on their web site. They say they are a five
star hotel expedia rates them at 3 star. Normally I avoid staying in Tijuana like the plague. Will I be sorry?

I've been to the Camino Real hotels in Tuxtla Gutierrez and Oaxaca and they were incredibly gorgeous and too expensive to stay there. So that made me
curious about this one.

Camino Real Hotel, Tijuana
It is a nice high rise hotel on the Cuahtemoc glorietta in the Rio TJ zone, part of a huge Mexican hotel chain, several five star hotels throughout
Mexico, but I would vote 3-star for this one.
Husband uses it for business meetings with people who fly in to TJ, facilities and service good, no bad experiences.
Security is good, parking garage and lot well patrolled.
No info about room quality.

Gypsy Jan, have you forgotten that you were going to give us some more restaurant reviews? I thought you did a really professional job on that first
one, and have been waiting for more . . . and waiting . . . and waiting . . .
