YA KNOW,ooppps sorry about the caps again..Im in la paz with my grand ma that just got the word friday that she has appx 2or 3 months left on her
ticket ..she sailed down her in 58 or 59 and stayed, name of the boat was NOMAD........I STARTED THIS thread to help other folks and have to defend
myself,,,,,,,,, for letting myself get jacked at a pemex.....so with much adoo I will shutup....,crew member spaceship earth capt"K" & lil tonya

I may be wrong about this, but always thought that although virtually all Pemex stations are franchisee owned, that Pemex requires them to accept
dollars, but allows them to set their own conversion rate. As David noted, this particular dealer was in no way encouraging the use of dollars.
As for the credit card reader, most businesses in Mexico that deal with small mark-up margins simply will not use credit facilities, inasmuch as the
fee charged is very high.
