Bigmike,

Good video, thanks for taking the time to make and post it up. We took a video of him a couple of years back, but never could figure how to load it up on our computer. (Technically challenged, that's me.)

Andy is a landmark, that is for certain.

How do you know he isn't legal? Just saying. as usual

Are you serious??? Panhandling gringo in Mexico not there illegally? He returns before his FMM expires each 180 days or he is there on an FM-3? Always returns to Cataviña to vacation?

OK sure, just a crazy outburst by that nutty David K again:lol:

No disrespect. Just wondering....

He probably has a sick motor home at ynez.

If not I gotta a couple of tents I could drop off.

Like I said, just wondering.

He told me he stayed in an abandoned car close by.

We dropped off a case a "chef boyardee ravioli"(BTW He invented it) with Andy a couple weeks ago and noticed that he was looking a little more haggered than usual. "no socks and tennis shoes have huge holes" If you are going thru Catavina soon and have some clean clothes/shoes laying around he sure could use em..
pants size 30x32 or was it 32x30? it probably doesn't matter ,, shoes size10

Regardless of whether or not you agree with his choice in life he is but just one of the many colorful characters that inhabit baja and he could use a little help.

Hopefully his Rockerfeller trust comes in soon and the helicopter whisks him away to his 5th house in Hong Kong, you know..The one next door to Bruce Lee!

Another Gotta Peso sighting!.... at Catavina on April 27th, 2012

I spotted him easily in the distance...the only guy wearing a winter overcoat in 80 degree weather.

Sorry about the poor quality photo, but I had to shoot him thru the windshield on our departure north. Naturally, Gotta Peso was busy telling his great stories to another traveler.

And sorry, GottaPeso, no peso donation this time for you...next time around for sure.

I wonder how he gets new FMMs every 6 months?:rolleyes:

Wait, since he is making an income in Mexico, he must have a worker's FM-3 visa, right??:smug:

David, maybe Baja Road 'characters' are not required to have all the specail documents that are mandatory to us normal travelers.

In any case, I'm not really concerned about any rules and regs Gotta Peso may be breaking.

To plagarize Mama Espinoza somewhat..."Too many rules makes sour people. Fewer rules make happier people." ...hey, I like it. ;)

Yah, I agree... one big reason Baja is so much a pleasure is (was) the fewer regulations (ie. more freedom) found there!
