Must see video about Mexico safety

This is really funny. There are some swear words, so be careful if you are at work!

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

Obviously from a tourism promotional site, but funny as Hades.

Anyone that gets the same reaction from their friends about going to Baja really must send this immediately.

A GEM !

and a great way for Simply Vallarta to promote their biz, eh?

I know the narco violence has scared folks and slowed tourism ~ which whether I like it of not ~ does cost jobs for local workers . . . And maybe that, combined with a slow economy here, there, and most everywhere . . . has decreased the value of my property.....

But we were all bellyachin about loosing the old baja to the rampant development of a few years back. . . so . . . I say we just keep it a secret and enjoy it as it is again !!!

Thanks for the hilarious video link !

We have now been in Baja for over a month and have not seen one beheading, no corpses hung from overpasses, and no one has even offered us a joint. Man are we bummed!

Stay away from this place, it is horrible and will make you fat! These people sit around all day drinking Pacifico or margaritas and eat fresh scallops, shrimp and lobsters. No one seems to want to work, at least the gringos we meet, and all they want to do is fish, eat fish tacos and swim. The water is warm and salty. Everyone has a great tan and you know how bad that is for your skin!

That video is so funny I blew Pacifico out my snout like a humpback!

Yeah - real funny stuff - I'm going to send it on to my friends in Morelia.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20101209/ap_on_re_la_am_ca/lt_dru...

The video is fiction - it's pretty easy to make a strong argument when you're the one doing the editing.

My point? Be careful whichever side of the border you're on - have a good time - but don't rely too much on folks who make funny cartoons.

And don't rely on figures/statistics that governments put out.
