South? I bet you went to Chico's Paradise.

Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

We go 2 or 3 times a year. We have stayed in Mismaloya, PV, Buceras, Nuevo Vallarta and Punta Mita.

Our favorite place to go and hang out is in Buceras. Caludio's, they have the best Chili Rellonos (SP). Right on the beach.

I love that pix shows the aguiladores circling the pole in the background.
I've forgotten the actual term for that ritual - anyone know?

[EDIT: Give the old brain time and eventually it remembers....
the flyers are called voladores. Seeing them is near the top of my bucket list.)

Think I spot at least one shot in Mismaloya. Anyone headed in that direction, a great hidden gem of a hotel Casa Iguana Inn.

believe it or not i know the guy that has the pirate ship concession off PV.
his name is John and he went to a high school in KS 10 miles from my home town.
he was certifiable when we were in school and at JC.

he's made a fortune and is a master con artist.
