Up 60-70% pre-crash. There aren't any holidays, schools have started, maybe here just for the weather. No se. But I think you remember the Baja, as
it was & as it is.

Dang. After driving the final leg home from San Quintin yesterday, I moved into relax mode. Between my bottle of Reposado & I, we thought we
were makin' perfect sense.
Not a trip report . . . nothing more than a routine 1500 mile trip for medical. An observation only.
Looking at the beaches of Bahia Concepcion, all were over half full of campers, and all classes of motor homes. This in stark contrast, and the first
time with these numbers since the days of DOW 700's. Folks are indeed returning. Good for Mexico, and a positive sign of health in the U.S.

That is great to hear, especially for the local economy. I'm really surprised, though, since I was just through there twice a month back and it still
looked empty. President's Day must have become bigger since I left.

Me too, Woody. About 4 months ago our portfolios & ROTH'S reached "totally recovered" from the March 2009 lows, and have gone on to bigger and
better profits. We stayed the course thru it all, so "buy and hold" worked for us (with a few adjustments), as usual, despite what you hear from the
pundits. History repeats itself, once again!! We were "down" about 53% at it's worse in March '09. Scary!!!

Isn't just freeking amazing how much profit these new far right wing Republicans have put back into the stock market just since JANUARY!
Couldn't have been the party that was voting yes on things for the last two years.
And before you start losing magazines out of the receiver Barry, name the last REPUBLICAN president who DID NOT raise the federal deficit as a % of
the GDP.
Here's a hint, both he and his vice president were thrown out of office for misconduct.
I had my money in real estate, too bad the Bush Republicans didn't believe in making the SEC do its job. I might be able to brag too.
Just spent a month in BCS and found it empty. 5 vehicles max at Rice and Beans, a few more at Malarrimo for overnights. But then, I found Campo
Serena in Bahia Asuncion too crowded. As many as 6 vehicles.

different perspectives, Vag, and different "spin" on the many facts. Personally I am more of a Libertarian, and don't like what either Party is
doing to our Country.
I am sorry about your real estate investments--------that is a bummer, but they too will come back, I am convinced. Real Estate has always scared
me-------way too risky and complex for me.
