I know..it's tough

Sorry to hear your loss. I have had many dogs, and currently five. It's tough to lose a dog. I am sure...this pup had one hell of a great life with you.

As someone who has had to bid farewell to a number of "friends" over the years, I feel your sorrow. In a way, it's nature's plan. Just think what would happen if our furry friends outlived us!

Looks like a cool baja dog, Diver. A faithful companion. I guess it was just his time.

I'm so sorry for your loss and the sad, heavy hearts your family are dealing with. I agree with Marc, they all go to Heaven.

If they don't then I don't want to go there either! So sorry for your loss! It is so difficult to loose one of our canine friends.

Well I`m sure old Zeke was thinking about all the love and Baja trips you gave him until he passed. When the time comes, all you can do is cry and thank your dog for all the love he (or she) has given you. Very sorry for your loss.

So Sorry for your loss.
The Rainbow Bridge Story

Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food and water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and time gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they miss someone very special to them; who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. The bright eyes are intent; the eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to break from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. YOU have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

THEN YOU CROSS RAINBOW BRIDGE TOGETHER....

Thanks for all your good wishes.
His box of ashes is sitting on the counter waiting to be spread in all his favorite places.
Some will be saved for Bahia Asuncion, El Requeson, La Ventana, Catavinia ...
He had a great life and he'll be remembered.

We lost our yellow lab over 10 years ago and it still hurts. She was my kid's friend, baby sitter, and protector. Our condolences to you.
