Congratulations Blanca!
I'm curious about 2 things:
How long did it take to receive your citizenship papers after you submitted your 'solicitud'?
Why only 2 years of FM2 status? Because you applied as a 'latina' or was there another reason?

Ooops!
Blanca, I just re-read your post and it sounds like you are just starting the process and don't have the final papers yet. Did Gilberto have any
idea of how long the whole process might take?

process takes 4 - 6 months.
bajalinda is right - the process just started and now it is a question of waiting.
Only 2 years for latinas with fm2's to apply. that includes portugal and spain. central and south america.

Lookin good, you're almost done with a very long process, I assume this is a dream of a few years now being fulfilled.
I used Pineada years ago, there was a couple of years of waiting involved and a couple of grand, but once we did the final signing, done! Free at
last, free at last! So worth it!
