Riddle me this

How much faith should we place in a calendar who's designers couldn't see it through?

["By the way, does anyone know - like with Y2K - which time zone we will all be watching to determine what happens when the clock strikes 12? Or at least which time zone in Baja? b1"]

I think the first time zone would be where New Zealand is. You should be able to see the distruction by the hour as it moves west. By the way Baja Sur will fall before Baja in the north due to the mountain time zone. All you southern Nomads wave.

I'm pretty sure that I will be attending a party, any reason is reason to party in Baja.

Good point. Someone down there should set up a webcam.

One tortilla or two? Depends upon how thick those tortillas are. The thin ones won't hold much. The thick ones? Got to factor in the diameter. What're you wrapping up in those little dumplings? How large are your hands? What's the distance from the plate to your mouth? Your reflex time?

For those of you who are worried about time frame. I don't think the Mayan folks had heard of a "clock". They were using their "sun dials"!!!!! Oh oh. Guess I shouldn't have said that. Now there will be a run of 'sun dials' at the local Wal-Mart store!!!!!  :lol:

When I started this thread, I had read about the "end of the whatever " in recent months, and I don't listen to Coast to Coast. But the topic seemed to keep crossing articles and books I do read, and internet searching. Though maybe I should. And I was curious what other Nomads were thinking along these lines. Especially those that are full timers in Baja. And even thought Gnukid might 'toss out something interesting'. But alas, he's silent on this one. Anyway. The other day, I received a book in the mail that hit right on this subject. It's a new book just off the press about a subject many of you will "poo poo". I want to quote you something this author wrote who is a world traveler and college degrees, and has been a guest on Coast to Coast. I quote, from page 220 "Both ET's and Sasquatch view 2012 as the most important cosmic moment in human history, when our sun will be in perfect alignment with numerous other suns (stars) all the way to the very center of The Milky Way Galaxy, roughly 28,000 light years away. They said that the years 2007-2016 are the window during which these Earth changes are supposed to build up and occur--not exactly on 2012. Interestingly, these statements match up with Maya, Hopi, Nostradamus', and Bible prophecies. This event happens in our solar system and Milky Way Galaxy every 26,000 years. So present-day Earthlings really don't know what to expect during these.
The Sasquatch people believe and are telling contactees that there will be an increase in solar flares, super-quakes, tsunamis, and possibly a pole flip, which has happened before. Super-storms, such as tornadoes and hurricanes, will begin to occur in greater frequency, and science has already confirmed this. The Sasquatch say the Earth's axis will move. Just how and to what degree is uncerrtain." unquote.
This book has been in the making for years. Went to press first part of this year.
Distributing started about two weeks ago. And we have Japans earthquakes (another 6.1 just happened) the resulting tsunami, the very recent tornados in the midwest, and the Japan earthquake shifted the axis a 'hair'???? What is this guy? A psychic??? The book has been incredible reading. And suddenly I'm reading about the Mayan calendar being mentioned in this book ??????? :?: :?: :?:

AM because it's on the AM (All Mad) radio band, rather than on the FM (Full of Music) band.

This is merely the successor to the decades long run of the Art Bell program that broadcast from a friggin' mobile home in Pahrump, NV. Space aliens, UFOs and the like were the regular fare.

Now that's entertainment! What a show!

I'll be watching the I Love Lucy Show in my under ground bunker. It's radiation proof. Water proof. Made by the sames folks that built them Nuke power plants over in Japan :o
