THAT Did IT !
Waiting an hour in the Summer Heat (110) Crossing back into the Socialist Peoples Californication Nation and watching the handful of cars Zipping
through the Sentry Lane in Seconds, Mi Esposa said "WE HAVE TO HAVE ONE OF THOSE".
Looking up the current pricing and finding it would cost $250 along with a protracted "Interview" appointment at the Border, I gave her the info and
expected her enthusiasm to abate.
"FILL OUT THE PAPERWORK AND GET IT DONE ASAP" was her reply.
It still seems a little steep and a pain in the Butt, BUT she's winning this one.
Working on the papers this a.m.

Mr. Bill, it is a pain in the neck but soooo worth it. We reapplied on 6/6 and have yet to get a date to go in. Ours expires in September, and by the
looks of it we may not have our new SENTRI by then. We have been told that if we have an authorization for a renewal date that should be sufficient to
cross with an expired SENTRI....have heard even this depends on who you talk to. Good luck!

Must say they are more than worth the price... didn't go back down until we had the sticker... wasn't all that bad... did it online... with the
exception of the interview and inspection at SY.. a worth while investment... even put on on the Bronco ...

Go back to your on-line account and check the status everyday......as I remember, they don't send you an e-mail or otherwise notify you. The only
notification I remember was on my on-line account

Each person needs their own card/pass.......and each vehicle needs a pass..........Everyone in the car needs a SENTRI card. Cannot tow anything, but a
camper shell on a pickup is ok. You have same restrictions as everyone else regarding taking items NOB

Each Person
Something which I had forgotten, but was reminded of the other day while in line.
When a passenger got out of a vehicle in the Sentri line and walked over to the pedestrian crossing.
Kind of a pain, but they STILL saved a whole lot of time.
And, we never take anybody along but the Dogs.

If you read the small print in the SENTRI regulations it states that all of the items in the SENTRI stickered vehicle must belong to SENTRI card
holders who are in the vehicle......have your non-SENTRI passengers take their "stuff" with them..........

I enrolled online May 13th. On June 8th I was notified via email that my membership application has been processed. I went online to my GOES account
and scheduled my interview for Sept 26th which was the first date available. Now I wonder after the interview and fingerprints are sent off to the
FBI how long will it take after that to get my pass????
You are not supposed to drop off anyone.

We have been checking online but still no appt.-after reading the above post I am not too concerned. DK, I believe the reduced price is for
pedestrians, who can apply right at SY. Many times we have passengers that get out and walk. It has never been a problem. Blanca, we take back and
forth what we have always taken. Stuff in, virtually nothing out. Not worth getting the card pulled.

I thought that SENTRI had an exclusion for crackers living in trailer parks.
