Just got a message from a friend in Buena Vista, she is dancing in the rain, it is so cool in Baja when it rains with out mighty winds! Doesn't take much to bring out the little flowers in the desert. Also read, no rain in Los Barriles, but hope..........

Meanwhile, of course it has been raining on and off all night here in Coatepec, it has been a good 10 days now of daily refreshing bringing the rivers back to flowing rain. How I Love the rain!

Just got word that they are now rejoicing rain in Los Barriles! It is the small things that make the greatest moments in our day.

Enjoy it while it lasts. Looks like you are getting some very isolated cells. Nothing else in all the Sea.

But the Wundermap images from last night showed HUGE concentrations of thunderstorms over the Sierra Madres in Sonora, for the first time this summer. The monsoon is upon us.

Hey Chippy, keep your powder dry!!! I've been through a few storms in Los Mochis, PV, and Mexico City. It can really rain over on the mainland!:O

What a tease. We got a sprinkle this morning, but didn't even make the ground wet. Hope this means that at least the wet stuff is on the way, we need it!

Well, hopefully it has been, or soon will be raining up in the hills, at least that will get the water table back up a bit. I have seen the tinest flowers bloom in the desert afer only of spit of rain. In baja when it comes to rain, you got to take what you can get.
