Butterfly Aviary in Santa Barbara

Took a day trip yesterday to the Santa Barbara Natural History Museum to check out the "Butterflies Alive" exhibit. It was awesome, I highly recommend seeing it if your in the area. Afterward we went to the harbor and ate a late lunch at my favorite place there, Brophy Bros. It was a perfect day in all respects, weather, nature, food and drink. My whole family was there so that was an added plus. Here's some photos and if you want to see more here's the link to my photobucket slideshow. http://s1181.photobucket.com/albums/x434/goldhuntress/SBButt...

Some really lovely examples, goldhuntress.
Reminds me I'm due for a trip to San Francisco's House of Flowers, where also the flutterbys abound.
Thanks for taking the time to post these pix.
