You are in no more danger now that you were two years ago when the pozolero was dissolving bodies in acid in Ensenada for El Teo. Same cartel, but
much less violent here now. Maybe a deal was made.

How many tourists have been killed in Baja by the cartels? (expats don't count to Mexico). President Calderon has promised the only shots you will
encounter in Mexico as tourists are Tequila shots. right?

It's the two spins. The "visit Baja" chorus doesn't deny the narco crime is going on, they just say no tourists have been targeted (with a few
exceptions in Acapulco I think) so it is safe for tourism. The "stay away from Baja" chorus accepts the crime and State Department warnings and feels
the only way to be safe- is not to go. Everyone has their own comfort level with safety and most people are more to the middle, we travel in Baja
with certain conditions (like no night driving, etc.)

What analysis? Where is your link?
I take it you're talking about the 300 acres of marijuana found in Baja?
So because 300 acres of marijuana a natural or planted crop was found in Baja it means the Baja area is very dangerous because the drug cartels are
behind the marijuana crops?
I can't think of a more safer drug than marijuana and could care less if they found marijuana fields are in Baja, or that that marijuana is much in
demand in America.
Both sides of the border should have legalized or at least decriminalized marijuana a long time ago since it's a staple drug and easily grown and sold
by the Mexican drug cartels.
The way I hear it is Mexican marijuana is considered junk and not very good to other marijuana from other parts of the world. Most Americans with a
little bit more money want their weed from other places than Mexico.
What a waste of time and a waste of perfectly good crop to burn all those acres of marijuana.

Communism? WTF is that? Even during the Cold War, there were no actual communist nations. There were dictators who hijacked the name, acting under the
guise of communism.

You know better than that! At least, I hope you do.  Communism is not a viable
answer nor is it a functioning political system. There are no Communists trying to take over the U.S.
Liberal does not = commie! That term is archaic; a throwback Boogieman to the 1950's Joe McCarthy/John Birch Society "The Russians are
coming...build a bomb shelter" mentality.
To disagree with the Liberal ideology is understandable. There is a huge political chasm that separates us. While I disagree with the ultra right/Tea
Party philosophy, I understand their arguments. I can see how they can support their arguments too.
So, Dennis! Come up with a better argument like I have often seen and respected in your posts. Anyone using the "Commie" rhetoric has not thought it
through for themselves. They have adopted that rhetoric from Murdock's Fox News Disinformation Machine, or else they have adopted it from someone else
