ONLY IN MEXICO (YESTERDAY)
SENOR, YOU CANNOT LEAVE WE HAVE YOUR LICENSE PLATE
Why?
THIS IS A RESTRICTED PARKING ZONE
Yes I know. The sign, the blue curb.
WE WILL GET YOUR LICENSE PLATE AND BRING IT BACK. WHEN I SAW YOU COME OUT OF THE HOSPITAL IN A SILLA DE RUEDAS (WHEEL CHAIR) I KNEW THERE WOULD NOT BE
A VIOLATION.
And sure enough another cop appeared with my license plate --- you know, the one with the blue wheelchair insignia on it...

It has been my experience that people with MX plates don't know what a blue curb means in Ensenada. They just park there because they know that wont
get a ticket or get towed because the police don't seem to care.
