Tijuana Estuary National Park
Spent some time last week down at this park. It is accessed from Imperial Beach. Lots of trails, nice small visitor center, not at all crowded the
day we were there.
Went in hopes of taking bird photos and ended up only seeing this one.

Love this place. When the wife is off during the week this is where we have our morning coffee. Lot of schools in IB take the kids here.

I like that photo---often there are LOTS of birds. Maybe next time. I sure am glad they did not turn that into a yacht harbor and it is protected!
It is such a beautiful place.
I have not asked for a long time, but they used to have an artist's rendition of the proposed yacht harbor in the staff's bathroom.

It's a great place for a walk, birds or not. Interesting view of the Tijuana Bullring by the sea too.

tripledigitken ...this is a great photo...love the way it whites out to the left.
Old people are like the old cars, made of some tough stuff. May show a little rust, but good as gold on the inside.

Very nice shot, Ken.

Ken, hope you don't mind, I love the shot so I saved it and then I started to fool around with it a little with my photo editors. I cropped it to
eliminate the bird and the rushes. Wow, what a feeling of loneliness, very existential, very organic. You are a genius. If I can sell it for big
bucks, of course I'll share.
Oops. Forgot to send the revised photo. Here it is. Wow. I'm stoked.

Can't please everyone.
Your reaction seems a little extreme though.
