That SUCKS big time!!!

Just another example of Uncle Sam over enforcing the rules to screw the small business man!!

There's too many rules and they're over zealous in using them to harm a guys lively hood!

So if you own a small buisness you shouldn't have to follow any rules, just catch and keep any and all that you want. It's only a fish, there are more where that one came from.

so the small bizman should be allowed to practice illegal fishing methods?

that's what we need, a society where only large businesses have to follow the law!

"They said it had to be caught with rod and reel," a frustrated Rafael said. "We didn't try to hide anything. We did everything by the book. Nobody ever told me we couldn't catch it with a net."

Apparently they didn't do everything "by the book". You also can't play the ignorance card and say "nobody ever told me...."

Nice fish, though!

isn't there i big island cluster about 400 miles west of or SW of baja that is famous for large tuna fishing - i mean like 400 lb plus?
sometimes it is open and sometimes not?
i can't spell or pronounce the name but a guy i met who had a place at Serenidad palapa ville went there, name Bill, he has pictures of himself with tuna bigger than a human.

That was an Atlantic bluefin. They dont get nearly as big in the Pacific. Believe the record Atlantic bluefin is around 1500 lbs.

And the big tuna at the Revillagigedos are yellowfin.
