Latin Music/Video Channels on Sky

After backcountry running in the Jeep, the biggest treat (after the excellent comida) is watching SKY cable TV. The best (in my opinion) music video channels are on SKY. For example, the new EXE Musica channel was great! My Wife enjoys BandaMax, and although you don't get the number of programs like on DirecTV, who cares about all of the hyped-up crime dramas and movie/television re-runs!?!

Living here in the United States, it often feels like I'm living in a plastic bubble with regard to the contemporary global music scene. Even being near Los Angeles, new music has seemed to have dried up. But, when in Mexico, the creativity and music are allowed to flow, and I always come back to the US with an idea of where modern music is going.

Hey Ken . . . one aspect of living here, you tune in an American AM station late in the evening . . . comes in strong with nothing but commercials. Keep tuning to a weaker station . . . but . . . nothing but music . . . sin commercials.

Something about the cultures yo creo.

American by birth, Mexican by choice.

Signature addendum: Danish physicist — Niels Bohr — who said, “The opposite of one profound truth may very well be another profound truth.

HTV

An excellent channel on SKY that is also available in the USA is H TV. Here is their radio channel:
http://www.htv.com/radio

Their urban channel (which I prefer) is located worldwide at:
http://www.htv.com/radio/radio-hurbano
