Status of the 2012 Baja Calendars (Carlos Fiesta).

Hi everyone!

Here is an update on the status of the 2012 Baja Calendar.

As it turns out, Jim Cline & Jim Hendricks will not be able to get a Baja Calendar out in time for 2012.

There are a lot of steps involved in the process of producing, selling and distributing the calendars (including an investment of time and money). We really wanted to get a 2012 calendar out, however we don’t want to take any shortcuts, so we had to make the decision to start with a 2013 Calendar.

It will maintain the tradition began by Marv Sherrill and carried on by Carlos Fiesta, and will feature some of the best work of professional photographer Jim Cline from his numerous trips all over the Baja peninsula.

We’re sorry there won’t be a 2012 edition, but we want to be sure we can deliver the best quality possible in a timely manner. The good news is that we plan to have the 2013 calendar available in the first half of 2012, and we hope to produce top quality calendars for many years to come.

We thank everyone for their interest, and we will keep you posted on our progress.

Anyone who placed an order using the old website for a 2012 version of the calendar, has been refunded today through PayPal.

Many thanks,

Jim & Jim

Thanks for the notice on this... Sorry we will miss having it for 2012, however I wish you much success with 2013!

Do get it done soon and you could sell it through the calendar kiosks and book stores, gift shops... they need to have them early for distribution... volume, volume, volume... But, if not mass marketed, at least you have us on the Internet and shops down the peninsula to sell them. :light:

Thanks David!

Yes, I totally agree. We wanted to take advantage of all those distribution avenues both here and in Baja. We just didn't get the project in time this year to make it happen. We had high hopes for getting it out this year, but once we sat down and looked at all the steps, it was clear that waiting until 2013 was the best option for everyone. We promise it will be an awesome Baja Calendar and we will do it right!
