Perfect day trip
We were in San Javier two weeks ago and it is a really special place. The trip up the mountains is breath-taking and mostly on new pavement. There is
a bit of road construction and country road driving that was easily passable. The mission and it's history are very interesting. Lunch at the
friendly cafe nearby was very good. Really lovely people and setting. There's a good thing going on in San Javier.

Awesome photo! Been there in 1973, 1976 and 2009... and could go again and again... Baja's second oldest Spanish mission, founded in 1699. The stone
church was built from 1744 to 1758.
