First Aid/Emergency Response Class

For any of you that live near the Bajamar area, I will be presenting an introductory class on First Aid/Emergency Response at Bajamar this Saturday, April 7 at 8 am. Most have made their reservations through Bajamar, but if anyone else wants to go U2U me and I will add them to the list.

A question Ensenada Dr., I remember reading
somewhere in Baja info, that it MAY be against
a law of sorts in Mex, to render aid in the event
of a Medical situation, that loosely translated to
read that one could be held libel for 'medical
practice without a license'? In Calif I believe they
updated the Law to protect Good Samaritans

i think CPR should be included in ANY first aid training. heck, you don't even need to lock lips anymore with the victim.

CPR

CPR is important, but is a class in itself. My introductory course will cover the ABC's (Airway, Breathing and Circulation) and some basic concepts of CPR. This is an hour presentation, and a CPR class runs several hours. Will see the interest first, and if a group wants it, I can teach CPR in a separate class.

is this a fee based class?

you can give the basics in 15 minutes. open airway, check for pulse, position hands and start breaking ribs. it's really very simple. better some info than none, but it's not my class so i'll sit down now!
