Water temp where U R?

I finally remembered to take a thermometer to the beach this morning. About a week ago the water temps dropped here noticeably and I wanted to check it out
69.....that is not surface, that is in the water about 2 feet below the surface
A refreshing swim for sure.

Hola Judy, Yesterday on the near east cape it was a very chilly 66. My ankles got cold on my SUP. And today? It is already up to 74.5. How's that for a 24 hour change?

El Pescadero water temps are slowy moving up! Prolly around 70 which is cool compared to the warm sunshine but 5-7 degrees more than what its been!. SSTs are of vital importance, as you know,in the creation and direction of Chubascos! We had a Thunderstorm that gave us some light rain last wkend and the mtns were in the rainclouds for a few hours. Come on summer rains! Tio
