Ay Dear Heart, so it is time to let go.
All of us must take our leave, may the pain be over and Juanita rest in peace.
You have done all you can and more, so, take solace in that Sweet Sally.
There is nothing else to be done now except accept, shed your tears, that are so rightfully yours, and share them with those who Love her.
And keep Juanita's memory alive, visit as often as you can her bright and shinning smile, it was a beauty, I remember.

Eli, Sarah, You Are So Eloquent

You have said what I wish I could could have to try to ease Sally and her family's pain.

Vaya con Dios, Juanita. May you be at rest and know that you were loved in a mighty way.

Damn! This is so very sad for you and your family. You all fought such a great battle and now comes the time for the good-byes and time to release her from this world. While her physical being will no longer be with you, her spirit will never leave you. Juanita will live on in your heart and through her daughters.

While there are no words that can soften your pain right now, my thoughts are with you. There will be more smiles and happy memories for you later.

Ah Sally!

I had so hoped a miracle would occur. Please allow Eli's message to speak for me too. My heart goes out to Juanita, you and the family.
Sending Love,

I too must echo that which has been so heartfelt said by others ..

Sally we pray all of you find comfort in these posts .. and feel the warm embrace for that which words cannot say.

Juanita the world has been a better place for having you here - may God take you peacefully and set you to watch over your loved ones who will miss your physical presence and who will always cherish you in their hearts.

Respectfully, Tommy & Lori

I read this news, Sally, with tears in my heart.
I too was praying for that miracle.

May Juanita have no pain as she crosses over.
May her spirit rest in peace.
And may God watch over those kids and all of you who haved loved her so.

Sorrow in the passing of this beautiful spirit is shared, Sally.

Yet, as she slips the earthly bonds know that the spirit that came here among us for this precious moment will now be free to soar in timelessness.

Perhaps little comfort to you now, however accept this attempt as its given in a good way. I feel that she will always live in your hearts for she walked this way and graced this world with her love.

Always, Mulegena

The Journey Home

Death comes slowly tiptoeing in, and the struggle to remain with those I love begins.
My body, far the wiser and knowing its purpose, puts one foot in front of the other on the journey home.
My mind, a reflection of my heart that loves so and does not want to let go, wanders freely, then resistively, then pleadingly, then soulfully, searching for a way to remain and yet wanting ...to let go with the assurance that God awaits me.
Thoughts of what was, avoiding and fearful of what is and not yet readied for what is to be, flit through my mind.
Each breath I struggle to take is a testament to the hard work of letting go of the attachments I have for loved things and my beloveds.
As I ever so slowly find my way through the shadows of death I hear the soft whisper of God's voice: "Fear not, for I AM with thee."
My mind flits through memories of you --- did I say those last words of love to you, I mouth them in my mind and hope you don't hurt because you cannot hear me saying them.
I feel your loving touch on my arm and your sadness as you are trying not to lose your connection with me. I am at a peace you cannot know though I hear you pray that for me.
If i look uncomfortable to you, or I cry out at times, what you do not know is that I am already listening to the singing of the heavenly angels as they begin to carry me towards my eternity with our Father.
May God keep you safe in his shelter, comfort you in your sorrow, and bring you once again to me on the day chosen for your own journey home.

Well Amigos, She is still with us!!!!A real fighter my girl is!!She is comfotable and surrounded by family and friends. Not too much pain either. She hasn't been able to eat so it really is a matter of time. She looks like a Buddah to me right now.We are going to try to get her to the beach tomorrow. All the family will be there. My stress level was 160/99, not good. Now it is 130/77.Good.Having her girls with me helps so much.If any Nomads are in the Capo area tomorrow, we will be across from Olamendis on the beach.Stop in if you can, and give our girl a hug.Abrazos, Sally (that was beautiful Maria!)

And I believe she is choosing her time --- giving everyone a little more time for all the very important good-byes.

There is just some unfinished business and I am sure you are coveting every precious moment with her. I think about a quote from the Forest Gump. " Mama always said, dying was a part of life. I sure wish it wasn't."

Love to read of miracles, and reading that Juanita had a good day without pain, recognizing those who love her and comfortable is pretty darn special. In the end all we have is now, so here's hoping that right now is being kind to You all.
