Anyone collect Hopi Kachina dolls?
I have one for sale that I bought in 1979 or 80 from a Hopi on Third Mesa, AZ. It is the Eagle Dancer and has feathers, fur and leather decoration.
Paid $225 back then and have no idea what it may be worth now but I'm asking $200 + whatever shipping it will take to get to you.

My Mother collects Kachina dolls. Hers are all covered in special plastic Kachina doll covers. I have a few hand made rugs. Great stuff!

The wife has a few, but is really into the "baskets" ..... Some of which are really very beautiful ... couple of rugs too
The design work is really very striking IMHO

Judgeing from the artist's initials under the base, this one was made in Scotland.

Maybe not.

I live in Fenix and I do a bunch of fotography up in the Hopi and Navajo Nations and I would do some research before you sell it. Being that old
there are many collectors that may pay more. I would contact the Herd Museum in Fenix and just ask some questions. They use to have a very large
Kachina collection and may have some info
