Ramp Fees Loreto
So Loreto needs more tourism? Air fares are too high and ramp fees are a joke. What do you get for 128 pesos? Access to ramp is all screwed up.
Streets torn up. No parking. No one watches your parked car and trailer (one was recently stolen). Its a joke and API is the joker. Blame the new
head of API, Arturo Susarey of Arturo's Sportfishing. And I wonder if his boats have to pay like everyone else. Another rip off by the Mexican Dept.
of Tourism. Its the people of Loreto that are paying the price of all this. The business' are hurting and the people are starving. Thank you Arturo
for your wonderful ideas. Any comments?

Stay nob and all your problems are solved, ramps are nice $10.00 fee at Los Alamitos Bay, Streets are paved, car thefts are down and best of all
poverty is not as rampant... Im just saying thats what I've done......

The fishing this year in the monterey bay area is better than Ive seen in bcs for 5/6 years..I'm catching fish and can wash my boat/rig with fresh
water (priceless)..two sides to every storey..........K & T

Yes, I´ll comment.
Ramp fees were implemented July 1, 2011, a year before reconstruction of the malecon and incidental access interference to the marina. Parking
remains available, with some inconvenience. The stolen trailer you refer went missing March 11, 2011.
Not sure of the joke you refer to. API BCS oversees port operation at Pichilingue, La Paz, San Carlos, Santa Rosalia, Puerto Escondido, Loreto, ships
and tourism. Your opinion that Arturo Susarrey awakened one morning and began the ´new´ fee assessment . . . and further, your placing public blame
on him for same reveals a great deal about you.
If you feel so strongly, late as you are, man up and visit Arturo before continuing your diatribe.

'Twas good to see you, Sonya and Brad at La Mision the other night.
To beat the heat/humidity (must be Arturo's fault) and to search for some long skinny fish, I will be following you across to Lopez in a couple of
weeks. I imagine our paths will cross......

You know , jthe ramp fee is a little annoying . Especially when the access is pretty bad . Its not uncommon for a marina to charge an access fee.But
, there are typialy some amenities associated with such a fee .
1.Parking
2.Wash Down Area
3. Security
4.Fish Cleaning area
I don't recall any amenities at the Loreto Marina . I like Loreto and have many friends and accquaintances there . But , I can see how it can grind
on you . Then again , you could go to Puerto Escondido where there are more amenities and closer to the S end of Carmen and a shorter run to some of
the Southerly Islands.

ramp fee is too much...well, yes it is too much. As for manning up, why don't you man up and go to La Paz to talk with him. Incidentally, you have
