This isn't news, but I confirmed that the Wine Bank on 5th Ave. in the Gaslamp still stocks some Baja Wines.

Can you believe those prices?!!!

36 bucks for a Tempranillo from...............Mexico? You could spend half that or less and get the real thing from Espana.

You can get single vineyard Cabs from Napa for 36 bucks.

I dont understand how Mexican wines compete in the world market at their price points. Can they really compete, tastewise, with the above comparisons? It seems very fishy to me.
