Baja Duty Free expands its borders - The store opened its doors in Otay to meet the demand and the dynamic of region

From San Diego Red

By Joy Ruvalcava

"Baja Duty Free has been characterized as a store who handles the sale of products to retail prices without tax, and that always looks to better serve their customers as well.

Recently the company decided to open a new branch in the Otay area, which opened its doors on Wednesday November 7 and is located at 2455 Otay Center Drive in Otay Mesa.

"We are proud to better serve the community that has given us their preference since 1989. The opening of our new store in Otay Mesa is part of our commitment to meet the needs of our loyal customers on both sides of the border, in addition to boosting economic growth in the region," said Elisa Castro, who is the Vice President of Retail Operations.

This new branch is the 5th of Baja Duty Free stores that opens in the Baja California border. Here you can find the best liquors, beer, perfume and accessories for men and women at the best prices, and the ideal place to find Christmas presents with the best prices.

With this opening the Fairn & Swanson Company now currently operates a total of nine stores along the entire border between the U.S. and Mexico, including three in San Ysidro, one in Otay Mesa, Calexico, four in Texas: Eagle Pass, Brownsville, Laredo and El Paso.

The Baja Duty Free store in Otay will be open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Sundays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm."
