An Open Letter from the Mayor of Rosarito

December 6, 2012

To whom it may concern,

The city of Rosarito Beach Baja California Mexico sends its warmest wishes this holiday season. As you know the holidays are upon us and tis the season to decorate our city and spread the holiday cheer.

Mayor Javier robles Aguirre and the department of public works has recently reviewed and inspected all of Rosarito's holiday decorations. We have come to find that the décor is substandard and not in workable condition.

We are reaching out to our foreign community for help. We appreciate any donations including any outdated but workable décor. The city of Rosarito Beach has been in financial restrains and is unable to purchase the decorations to decorate the 90 light posts that line the main boulevard and the city hall.

If there is anything anyone can do or any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. If any donations can be made contact Antonio Ruiz Cuevas director of the foreign residents attention office and bi national relations at (619) 740-9248 in Mexico 011-52-661-614-9600 ext. 1080 or e-mail garuiz@rosarito.gob.mex

Sincerely,

Antonio Ruiz Cuevas

I spent Christmas in Rosarito a few years ago. The life size nativity was charming. Wish I could be there again this Christmas.
