Howdy! 'M' here........
I am literally down to the wire. I am leaving tomorrow, Thurs. afternoon to make my 6th trip to Rosarito with a stuffed to the headliner load.
I can't leave until after the buyers realtor comes in for a walkthrough and also to meet the termite guy, all at 1PM. JUST IN TIME, to hit S.D
traffic. I will be back on Sat, to pack more.
On the 7th, I have a minor surgical procedure to do a spinal block and smooth some serious bone spurs, then on Thursday night, the 8th, I have to
surrender my home forever, so that David can come in and clean out the rest. I don't plan on hanging around to watch that though.
I keep thinking of the moment I walk out the door for the last time. How hard will it be, remembering a life here for the last 15 years, now,
homeless.
I turned down the house I was going to get, just too much damage to bother with... So, keep eyes and ears open. I will be down there looking on
Fri/Sat.
My budget is $600. Popotola and Calafia area is where I wan't to be
I was talking to Mindy my last visit, and we started recalling the BBB's, and what a blast we all had. It got me going a bit and I think I am going to
have to explore doing those again when I get settled.
Next door, by Calafia is 'El Jefe', I think its called, but it has a perfect area for a gathering, volleyball, horseshoes, B-Ball and stage. Perfect.
'll have to scout accomodations later.
I'm off again now, I can check my messages from Mindy's if there are any leads.
Thanks Bunches everybody...
Hugs, M

The Old El Jefe Restaurant
On the ocean side near the Calafia towers is now called Javi's.
We dropped in to visit this last summer. This is a large and beautiful property with a huge outdoor patio and volleyball courts; a great place to
host a large outside gathering with plenty of parking.
They had had done a nice job of cleaning up the place. The bar was up and running, but the kitchen was still a work in progress.
Haven't heard anything more about it since, except for bar night promotions.

Oh Capn, you are a long cool drink on a hot day! How the heck are you? It's been years!
David has decided to go his own way, and listening to reports of what was going on behind my back, I believe he did me a favor.
I was told by a few friends that he wouldn't let them talk to me when they called, being a bully, he was rude and intimidating. I missed a lot of
friends, for a lot of years from his rigid control over me. I'm grateful to the folks who stepped up, to tell me how he was treating them. I would
have straightened that out years ago, but as it is now, I'm glad to know what he was doing, it makes it a bit easier to shed that stifling influence
from my life. Sad, yes, but I do believe I see a couple windows opening up, and it looks a lot cleaner and brighter, than the nasty door of doom I
turned away from.
So, Sharky my dear, it feels so nice to have old familiar names and faces, entering my life once more. It's all joy juice to me.
My mx cell ph. # is, 661-119-4172. Please give me a call sometime. I will be in Baja in about 4 hours from now, returning Sat, early AM. Then, back
again maybe Mon. or Tues.
I want to hear all about you and the misses, and how you are doing these last long years.
BIG HUGS TO YOU,
M
