Fire in the Palm grove just north of town. Very dangerous but never got into town. Only a couple of houses down in there near Canada del Diablo. Very strong North winds! Knocked down within 1 1/2. Fire bugs have set a few fires in the past couple of years?? Volunteer Fire Dept. very undermanned! Tio

The wind yesterday was a freak NE, like a Santa Ana. It's calm and beautiful today. I just came back from Todos Santos, I saw a couple of palapa roofs burned at the entrance to town, but everything seemed to be back to normal.

It is blowing North East again this afternoon.
between 15 and 20 homes/businesses have been damaged. The bar La Gara at the entrance of town is hit hard. Wonder if their reggae night will go on tomorrow. The Grove trotters suppose to play there (formerly known as Dan and the Man) a highly entertaining band.

The grass is always greener....
and so, there is always a better spot in Baja
