 I would re-think that DirectTV dish thing, and go to Slingbox to get the same channels you get up in CA... as long as they have TelMex DSL over there?

 That is the current problem...we have no direct phone line to the house, and the internet (on bajagypsy's router signal bounce), the signal has been
somewhat inconsistent.
 That is why I feel the DTV route will be the most reliable signal.
