Love the typo (loca's guide)...the local's guide promises to be a great addition to sources of Loreto information.

Sharksbaja/Corky is up in your neck of the woods, Newport. Still has his fish restaurant, I guess.
Hope all is well.

Part-time lurker still here

What can I say........ thanks for the thoughts. Yeah I watch you guys and sometimes think about posting. Still visiting Baja although it is bittersweet. The hurricanes just keep on coming. It's been a humbling experience.
I'll say this though, this forum has gotten much nicer the last couple years. I won't elaborate on why I don't partake this place, but it wasn't a pleasant experience.
Dennis is right, we still have our little restaurant(16 yrs). It's a tough biz to be in these days years with all the restrictions, economy, gas prices. New persident, same old chit. The upside is the fantastic weather we've been having.
I found some other ways to involve myself w/Baja minus the mental mastubation required at this forum.
You might like the models. A few are on GoogleEarth.

Hi Corky, good to see you! Glad to hear your restaurant is still open. Two of my Nomad amigos ate there and I hope to some day.

Hey Sharks! You were one of my faves! But I forgive you for disconnecting ;D.

Someday I will stumble into your restaurant for steamed seafood and see the little boat you picked up from Espinoza's.

Seriously, wishing you all the best!
