Baja Shakespeare

Oh Que, Yippie, Yeah!!!

Just got the following announcement with dates. I can assure you that both the art festival and the theater are way fun beyond belief.

Hope to see any Nomads that can make it down there at that time. It will be great weather and a hardcore party week in Los Barriles, the best of the best that our little puebla has to offer!

Espero, Sara

"Our Baja Shakespeare production this year will be 'Taming of the Shrew' done to a '50's bee-bop theme with lots of '50's music. Very high energy and lots of fun! The dates of our production will be: April 7,8,9 and 10, 2005 (coinciding with the Arts Festival). "

Look forward to meeting you Bruce

And any Nomads that choose to grace the scene.

It will be real interesting to find out who I will be this year. Auditions for parts occurs this weekend. Alas, I will be sitting on pins and noodles as they are going to e-mail me my role next week; seeing how as of course, I won't be there.

Haven't even seen the script yet. Ah but, as I have acted in the last four seasons, they know what I am capable of, much hilarity, I assure you.

For sure, I will go for it, no matter what role they give me, be it a witch, a wench, a guy, a hoar, a lion, or even a dam Nun, I'll throw myself into it, just as I have every year. It is all way to much fun. Love that Shakespeare, he sure knew us humans, inside and out.

Can't believe my good fortune to call home a tiny town in Baja where the Master Poet himself visits once a year. Ay que Don Willy, what an honor to know your words..
