Equipales has the best chilaquiles I have ever had! I took my folks there (both were born in Mexico) and my Dad unfortunately said they were the best he had ever eaten, oblivious to the daggers my Mom was shooting at him...

We just got back from a very quick trip decided on at the last minute as the swells stopped abalone production for a few days...we sure enjoyed lolling around in the water at Playa Escondido and gorfing down a few scallops!!! a meal at Scotties and desayuno with Chuckie...it was a nice little escape! except for my flat tire on the way home!

Got home a half hour ago and we're off to a gig Juan is playing at...we're gonna need a bigger truck for all the instruments and speakers!!!
