Ah, Greyhound is not a rocket either. Can be 30 minutes to one hour from Downtown to SY, depending on traffic on I-5. Then 10 minutes to TJ Central.
And it gets worse in the North direction, American customs at the border are holding every shuttle and bus forever, checking it without passengers,
and there are many smaller shuttles in the same line.
One can't rush things in Baja. And, it appears that Baja begins somewhere in SD. Intervals between Greyhound buses can be 2 or even 3 hours, and they
can be late. But, eventually it gets you there, and it's cheap.

ALM...I called the bus station and they told me the Aguila bus leaves TJ Central for points south like Guerrero Negro & Vizcaino at 700am, noon,
4:00 pm and 6:00 pm
this is sort of helpful but few of the numbers worked...I ended up calling our local bus station in Vizcaino for the departure times from TJ

Shari, I wish I knew what's going with this company. They cancel buses on a short notice, and there is no more schedule on the wall anywhere. Oddly,
Vizcaino is one of the stations that still has a nice poster schedule on the wall, though I don't know how accurate it is...

I guess that's why they dont advertise their schedule...I must have made a dozen phone call to the TJ Central terminal and never got through to ABC at
all which is when I called the Vizcaino terminal. I always check before taking a bus to make sure of the times as they seem to change at times.

I think it is-if you do not have a schedule then nobody can fault you for not keeping to it. This is like my favorite response from our friend and
agent , When asked how long until something is ready---he always answers "two weeks", which I have learned means "who knows".

Blanca, thanks so much for your offer! I am familiar with the SD bus station and the trolley, I am a native Chula Vistan although I haven't lived
there in 20 years and things change so fast!
Alm, thanks for the hook-up about ABC and catching the bus in TJ Central! I will check into that! If I can get a direct route that would be awesome!
Dennis, good to know I can catch a bus in Ensenada to Baja Sur!
Shari, thanks for checking into that and for the link!
Good to know too that there are several options for storing a car on the U.S. side, and it isn't that pricey, thanks for that!
it looks like there are several options after flying into SD...store a car or hop the greyhound to the border and catch ABC to Ensenada or Baja Sur!
Ok, now that I have that sorta figured out, can I leave tomorrow LOL... its June and still raining here UGH!
options are a good thing! thanks everyone!
