Checking the radar for the last of Erick this morning I see what appears to be a big storm along the east coast of the SOC...any news on whats going on over there?

It has been all around us, especially between here and Kino Bay, but so far we have been missed. Unusual for the cells to have lasted this long into the night. They have usually dissipated by around 2am. These are the strongest ones so far this year.

We arent out of the woods yet, but WU still only give us a 20% chance of rain today, tonight and tomorrow.

Great lightning displays, that's for sure.

Boy, that was a fast exit by Erick, no?

Well, a cell finally got here around 530am. Two lightning strikes within 400 feet of the property. Rain came down at a rate of about 1/2"/hr for around 20 minutes or so. Still light rain falling. We've gotten maybe a 1/2 inch. Probably not done.

Looks like the route between Santa Anna and Caborca is where it really pounded.
