Wine Festival August 18th

We have some serious wine and foodie friends coming down for the first time in August. Since it is during the Wine Festival time seems natural to attend some of the events. Can anyone recommend an event or two, the Paella event on Sunday 18th is already sold out.
Thanks
Lori

If this is their first visit, I recommend taking two of the local bust tours that offer lunches.

If they have some money means, by all means I recommend the cultural day and event at one of the vineyards that is hosted by a Russian family (sorry, I forgot the name). It is around $300.00 U.S. but well worth the festivities because you are involved with great food, great wine and great activities.

Liceaga

Try the event at Liceaga. Outside, under big oak trees, music and food.........about $30USD

I 2nd Liceaga - great location, huge oak trees, wines are drinkable. We often buy a bottle and pic-a-nic there.
