accomodations V. Trinidad

I'm wondering if there are any accomodations in Valle de la Trinidad or close by. I will need to arrive there in the night coming from El Centro. I will be pre-running the last CODE race from there to 3 poles. Just trying to get an earlier start versus driving from EC in the morning...Thanks Paul

None that I would stay at. Be very careful, this area has a deserved reputation of having some ruff characters.

If I were in your shoes, and I needed to be in that area in the morning, I would just plan to leave early in the morning from El Centro OR leave early enough to stay up at Mikes Sky Ranch (less than an hour up in the mountains).

Paul when are you prerunning. I agree with Tim. I don't know of any accomodations other than Mikes Sky Ranch which is one of my more favorite places.

TW, I'm gonna prerun Saturday Dec, 4th. This is the only weekend they are allowing to prerun the summit area. If the course stays the same I'll probably take over at check #2 all the way to the finish. 157 miles..Did you print the map out ?..I'll keep you posted..Paul
