Mood: Move on. It is just a chapter in the past, but don't close the book- just turn the page

HMMM...LG Restaurante or Sano's?

My daughter asked me the other day to take her for Ribeye...it's prohibitively expensive in Baja, and I told her I will make it for you on the barbeque much cheaper, usually buying my ribeye cuts from Vons! I thought their filet mignon cheese fries with sour cream might curb her yen. I do try to stay away from meat though as my son constantly reminds me of his raw vegan status.

Anyhoo, I was in the mood for soup and salad, and knew that Sano's had a very nice outdoor patio and a reasonably priced towering blue cheese/raspberry romaine salad and excellent soup. I did notice however the new LG location where Olivo's used to be, just north of Punta Morro. I had one bad experience with LG's before but I was tempted by the new oceanfront location. Tuesday appeared to be all you can eat wings day, but I didn't like the looks all of the breaded wings soaked with BBQ sauce, so I decided on their chile poblano camaron crème soup and a delicious fresh fruit and salad greens combination with a delightful homemade raspberry vinaigrette dressing. Delicioso!! My daughter had the fresh tortilla soup. The ambience however, was very nice, rivaling Punta Morro because the restaurant is partially open and you can see and hear the ocean, and can almost reach out and touch it you are that close. Excellent service, I will give it a 5 out of 5 stars!!!
