Living the dream you guys are!

"I have worked hard for and been given the opportunity to have this rich life and it is a responsibility I take seriously."

Words to live by!!

What a wonderful life adventure you guys are on. Your wife is a very good writer. It will be fun to read your kids blog in a couple of decades.

Thank you Shari... as far as sharing it?
HELL yeah! Share away.... this is a new path for me and I figure I have a few more decades to refine it....
My writing style is pretty raw... it pops into my head and I bang it out with minimal editing.... I find when I overthink things just go not quite right......:light:

Also, check out my wife's blog and, if you feel compelled to do so, share away!

I read through your blog the other night, and just wanted to pop on here today to say, "Wow, you are a very gifted writer, authentic"! And such a powerful message!

Raw= authentic, honest, coming straight from center! And that's a beautiful thing!

I look forward to reading your future streams of consciousness!

Keep it up!!

Yep, it's a good read. It really must be good to get to a part of life where you can say things and you don't always have to tone or just not say it because it might impact you career or family in some way that you didn't intend. I'll check back in on it from time to time. Thanks.

Every trip I make to Baja is an adventure filled with discovery and treasure.

Enjoying your blog---- love that view of Matzalan! In the past, we have stayed at the La Siesta above El Shrimp Bucket in that same area. The old part of Matzalan was beautiful and and I wonder how much it has changed.

Keep up the great writing, and yes, sometime write about those painful experiences. It would be good to write about them.

Great stuff Frank. I think 100s on this forum feel themselves riding along with you because they've got similar Tshirts and because you have a gift for painting clear and clever word pictures. Keep em coming.

From one retiredfirefighterinmexico to another. Well done Brother!

EVERY day I pinch myself as I look out on the sea, so thankful for the good choices I have made that bring me and my sweetheart to this paradise.

Your writing is wonderful. I look forward to seeing what you write about your experiences seeing the personal suffering that I too have witnessed more than enough of. I used to say that as firefighters we "see things people shouldn't outta' see." But then we are given the gift of being able to do something about it and make it better. Good stuff that.
