Turtle Expedition Tour
I read about this in today's Sacramento Bee. I thought their vehicle looked interesting: http://www.turtleexpedition.com/vehicles/turtle5.htm
They also offer caravan tours: http://www.turtleexpedition.com/news/news.cfm?news=16

What a vehicle! Can do some serious back roads with that.

...and of course there's the....
Green Tortoise tour busses...you see them from time-to-time down Hwy 1...a dozen or so of some new, best, friends crammed together on an old bus...I
guess it's a low-bucks way to see the sights...

I have been on 3 different Green Tortoise trips: Yucatan, Yosemite, and Death Valley. For the right person, it can be a really fun time.

the page wouldn't come up, but if it is THE turtle expedition feature over the years in four wheeler magazine, yes their new rig is awesome.they have
been all over the world, deserts, mountains, snow packs, etc.a few years ago (in their old rig) they did a trip down the entire central coast of
baja.don't know where they get their $$$, but sure would love to have their job!!!
